1.
Meet
client expectations in the day-to-day servicing of their insurance policies
and coverages in accordance with the agency’s processes and procedures.
2.
Identify
areas to improve coverage or additional policies or lines of business for
clients.
3.
Maintain
up to date knowledge of insurance markets; underwriting criteria and use of
company specific materials.
4.
Assist
clients with coverage issues, changes or insurance needs.
5.
Solicit
additional business from existing clients and prospect for new clients.
6.
Maintain
accurate client/carrier data in agency management system for prospects,
clients and carriers.
7.
Review
expiration reports and prepare renewal information within process time
frames.
8.
Submit
applications, forms and complete submissions to designated carriers.
9.
Review
insurance carrier quotations and prepare proposals for clients.
10. Process cancellations, non-renewals
and endorsements.
11. Continually focus on improving the
clients’ coverages with suggestions.
12. Attend insurance carrier meetings as
requested and participate in insurance carrier training sessions.
13. Satisfy continuing education
requirements in order to maintain required license.
14. Perform other duties and
responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
& Education Minimum Requirements:
- General
Lines – Property & Casualty Agent License.
- Associate
degree or equivalent business experience.
- 2+
years’ experience in the P&C insurance industry.
- Proficient
in the use of contemporary business software.
