Marketing Representative

Job Purpose:

Develop and support agents in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Acquire qualified new agencies for appointment with companies
  2. Train and develop new and existing agencies on all products and services
  3.  Analyze agent performance and make recommendations to management
  4.  Provide reports and communicate results to agents and make suggestions for improvement where needed
  5.  Assist other Marketing staff in onboarding of new agencies
  6. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing or office management
  • Insurance experience either at an insurance company or agency preferred
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to travel, mostly by automobile, 50% of the time

Physical Requirements:

  • Job conditions may require light lifting, sitting, walking and standing
  • May be required to sit at a desk or computer for long periods of time
  • Ability to see details of objects at a close range (within a few feet of the observer)
  • Ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands and wrists
